You are already tapped into Universal Power. If you are alive, you have a connection to Power. Because of this, we do not need to make the connection to Power, but rather simply enlarge the channel through which that Power flows. Each time we unite with Power, we are increasing the capacity of the channel through which Power flows. A means of increasing the strength of our connection to Power is to focus our mind on Power itself. Increase power by increasing your consciousness about power.

Anytime we focus on anything, we are establishing a type of link to the thing we focus on. When we focus on something and then go on to something else, a small part of our consciousness stays with the original object of our focus, with a thin thread of connecting substance between us and the object. The connection that is developed between lovers also results from the intense focused attention that each person gives to the other. Focusing on intent for one moment creates a link for all other moments.

Focus your mind on Power. Use controlled breathing to as a physical act of correspondence to draw in power. Psychokinesis is movement by the mind, soul or breath. All three are one. With each breath inwards, imagine Power filling your body. With each breath outwards, imagine power established outwards and surrounding your physical being. Continue until you feel as if you have enough Power, or until you feel that you have reached your capacity. Imagine yourself shift into the reality where power exists.

God is everywhere, including within each one of us. Since there is no way to be any closer or further away from God than at any other time, the phrase “closer to God” refers to the awareness of that closeness that already exists. Being “closer” means being more aware. Build your awareness with affirmation. I am one with God and God is all that is. There is no separation between us now, or at any other time. When you increase your awareness of being one with God, you increase in closeness with God.

There is a way to expand your ability to hold and channel more power. Just feel yourself expanding outwards. Feel yourself as though you are becoming more than you were. As you are expanding your spirit, you may think that it is only your imagination. But this is the way to direct your inner mind and your spirit to follow your lead. As you continue to practice this exercise, you will begin to expand your spirit, which is your connection to and your reservoir of Power. You’ll enlarge your capacity for power.

Continue to feel an increase in Power within yourself. Try to imagine what it would feel like to have All Power, to be the One, the Infinite Being to whom everything and everyone is connected. As you imagine this, you are directing Power to create events that will bring this about. In essence, Power is being directed to make you more Powerful. You are using Power to make yourself more Powerful, then you’re able to direct even more Power to make yourself even more Powerful. This forms a power loop.

If you have any negative thought towards the idea of having all power, such as “I shouldn’t try to put myself into God’s place” or “I could never become God”, then you may have to spend some more time working with your belief system before you will be able to achieve a high level of proficiency with Power. If you believe that this kind of Power is impossible, wrong, or in any way difficult, then you will be working with a serious handicap. All power is open wide to you and you can tap as much as you want.

Using Power is about pulling Power into yourself, and then releasing that Power in the direction of your goal. When you are physically tired or run down, it is much harder to work with Power. You have to build up Power before you can work with it. You do this by relaxing and feeling energy being pulled into you. You will find that you have replenished energy to do more things. Of course you must be careful not to over strain yourself, but most people do not know that they can go past their present limitation.

Learning to control a small amount of Power is good, but learning to control a large amount of Power is even better. But whether you have a small amount of Power flowing through you or a large amount, you do need to be able to control that Power, or else you will end up directing that Power to create events and experiences that you don’t want. It is your thoughts that control power. That is why it is so important to develop control of your thoughts in order to handle greater power. Responsibility follows power.

When you are in a state of power, the way to direct power is to simply think about what you want, and then decide that you are creating it with your thought. Visualize the thing or event you want to create and then affirm that it will be created. Power is directed by your will, and this will is simply a spiritual intention for a desired result to be made manifest. There is no straining of effort in the use of the spiritual will, but rather it is what you hold in your mind, expecting that it will be reflected in your experience.

You have to connect with Power first and then easily perform your mental act of directing it. If you think that you must put forth a great effort, then you are handicapping yourself with a false belief. When working with Power, remember that Power is very willing to do anything you direct it to do. If you remember that, then you will probably be able to find the fine line of setting your intention. All you have to do is communicate what you want to the Universe when you are connected to Power, and it’ll be done.[/hidepost]
