It is Not desire but Will that Manifests Things

Never express doubt but always positively affirm that what you expect will come to pass. Remember that it is not what you wish for or desire, but what you steadily will that comes to pass. Wishing or desiring a thing to happen does not bring it about. The wish is often accompanied by doubt which is the strongest of counter suggestions. Do not say “I wish that it might be like that.†Say “It is like that†and never permit yourself to hold the thought that you are not telling the truth. Positively affirm your desire.
To intend is to will. Everything that happens is based on choice, whether from the higher or lower self. In order to be a conscious creator of your reality, you need to know what you are choosing in every moment. You may have a desire, but are you choosing that desire to be fulfilled? Something only comes into being when you choose it to be. Desires are neither good nor evil, they simply are. It is the choices we make that determines good or evil. Our experiences are created by our intention which is by will.

Faith is a choice. There is no higher power that determines what we will or will not have faith in. We are freewill beings possessing the ability to choose our faith. Faith is the power that controls the entire universe. Faith is both an act of intention and detachment. It is both an act of choosing and surrendering. The only control we have is to control our intentions. We have the power to choose. Everything else happens from that power of choice. Right now in the moment we have to choose what we shall affirm.
By your words you shall be justified and by your words you shall be condemned. The words that you use mentally or vocally are the affirmations that you make about your world. As the Maker of the universe shaped the world with the Word of God, so do you shape your own world according to your words. Your words are the expression of your will. Do not only say what you want. It is an expression of desire. Declare what things shall be. That is an expression of will. Declare and let it go as the way to faith.
In the process of manifestation, there are many things around you that seem to support the possibility of what you want happening, as well as things that seem to prevent what you want from happening. Do not be attached to either of the positive or the negative signs. Nothing is your source except God. It is important to clear your mind and return to a place of emptiness where you are not thinking of external things because they are subject to change. Keep focus on God as your source for the manifestations.
Lean not unto your own understanding, but in everything trust the Lord. The Lord is your higher self of the Universe. To try to figure how the manifestation shall come is not to trust. Your conscious mind cannot know everything at every time at this moment. When you fail to figure out the how, you would create doubt. To prevent yourself from creating doubt, stop leaning unto your own understanding and clear your mind to return to a state of emptiness. In that space there’d be no resistance for trusting the Lord.
In the stillness there is peace. In the void is the realm of all possibilities. Pure creation comes from that space. The problem is that we tend to get caught up in the world of manifestations and phenomena. When we see things happen, we start to think that is the reality of things. The challenge is to let go your mind of all attachments to how reality is like externally. All phenomena are empty and true reality is formless. To see the external world as reality is to be limited. See God as your reality to be unlimited.
To trust God may be the hardest and the easiest thing. God is the most intangible and yet the most real. Everything else exists as a physical or mental form. Energy, law and mental constructs all have certain tangibility for the mind. But when the mind thinks of God, God is nowhere and not-a-thing. The mind cannot grasp God as a mental construct like energy, law and time. God is the most intangible and also the most real. It’s hardest to trust God with understanding, but easiest to trust God with pure will.
The mind cannot have direct understanding of God because God is not a mental construct that can be grasped. The mind can only let go and give way to the will to trust in God. Using the will to trust in God is an act of pure faith that can only come from a place of emptiness by clearing the mind. At this moment, clear your mind of all thought about how things can be or cannot be. When there is no thought, there is no limit. Out of that place of no mind, continue trusting God through your act of pure will-choice.
It is easier to use the will in concentration or assertion, when desire is strong. The will is directed by desire and the way to make it easier to use your will is to summon up enough desire feeling. Desire feeling is denied when you choose to believe negatively about your desire or when your mind is unfocused on it. First you must focus your mind on your desire and believe correctly about it. Then you will build up desire feeling to make the assertion with your will. From that state, strongly declare it as a reality.
Without faith there can be no real effort, no concentration, no controlling of the attention. The will is never really exerted without faith. The will is directed by desire but liberated to act by belief. You must believe that you can before you will. Believe that you are a divine creator of your reality, and that you can direct the outcome. Then use your faith to command what you want to happen. Always remember to consciously reaffirm what you can do, before you affirm what you want done. Believe and command.[/hidepost]
