There is one key factor that makes the difference between the degrees of success among intentions. That key factor is the practice of secrecy. There are reasons why intentions that are kept secret tend to succeed better than those that aren’t. This is something that many people are not aware about. When you understand why secrecy empowers the manifestation of intentions, you would have greater prowess over your reality creation work. The secret of secrecy is the magic touch to manifestation work.
In ancient times of the mystical arts, all magical work was done in secret. This is especially so for the case of altering reality. A magician worked to manipulate universal forces to accomplish results that were often considered impossible by the common people. In essence, magic was the act of defying consensus reality. As we know that all of reality exists within consciousness, a magician was going against collective consciousness. The only way was to work at the level of the collective unconsciousness.
According to the law of freewill, when you are aware of an aspect of reality that no other being in your world is aware of, that aspect is open to alteration by your thoughts. When other beings are conscious of that aspect as well, then there would be a battle of freewill in determining the condition of that aspect of reality. The way to manipulate reality without violating the law of freewill against other beings is to do so in areas that they are not aware of. The power of secrecy is what keeps others in a state of sleep.

In the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king. When you are the only lucid dreamer in a collective dream, you would be able to take control of the dream without facing much resistance from the other dream participants. It would be to your best advantage not to awaken others to consciousness of your intent. This keeps you in full power of molding the dream world to your will without unnecessary interference from other minds. Secrecy is the way to create as little resistance as possible for your intentions.
Since reality is a shared one, other people’s thoughts contribute to our reality creation work. Those thoughts can be supportive or harmful depending on the consciousness of the person. Every thought from another person who is conscious of your intention would alter its manifestation in some way. Since most people do not know the exact results that you desire, what they think for you may influence the results so that it doesn’t turn out as you like. When other people are involved, they tend to get in the way.
Even well meaning people who love and support you may unconsciously send out thought forms which sabotage what you are doing. When you notice their lower level of belief and expectation, refrain from telling them what you are intending to manifest. It is easier for the successful to become more successful because there are already many people who expect further success from them. But even the successful people have to keep their plans a secret when they are endeavoring to push the limits greatly.
Another advantage of keeping your intentions secret is that you won’t have to live up to anybody’s expectation. That is because you do not set up those expectations in the first place. Telling others about your intention and feeling you have to succeed in order not to disappoint them, may cause you to become attached to results. When no one knows what you are doing, you have perfect freedom to carry on or drop it with no one the wiser. This carefree and detached attitude empowers your manifestation.
Christ said that when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray in secret. The universal intelligence or God who receives your intention will expedite its process of translation from the invisible to the visible world. Your act of creation involves merging your personal reality with collective reality. By keeping your intentions secret, you are keeping them within your personal reality. Then they would be better able to merge with collective reality at the unconscious level. Covert operation accomplishes a lot.
It is said that silent and reserved power is the most potent. It is because in that space there is no one to challenge your power. Knowledge is power and in areas that you know but others do not, you have power over them. If you do not want your enemies or competitors to challenge you, do not reveal your intentions. Many people around you may be more of a competitor than you think. They may not wish for your best success because of jealously and inferiority. Bypass all the resistance by keeping quiet.
Only tell your intentions to certain selected people who have been proven supportive for your manifestation work before. The combined collective consciousness will greatly boost the manifestation success of your intent. When two shall agree, it shall be done for them. That is why there are people who gather in cults and secret societies to combine forces for their magical work. It doesn’t matter what special group you join, but the principle of harmonious collective intent is what enhances the altering of reality.
The best time to talk about your intentions is after they have manifested. Many ideas have been destroyed by opposition from mediocre minds. That is why the wisest men kept their ideas to themselves and only revealed them in secret to those who are worthy. When you talk about your manifestation work after it has been completed, that is when you can strut around feeling grand about your accomplishment. In the meantime, you should say nothing and get cracking. Less talk and more work gets you further.[/hidepost]
