Your beliefs create your reality. Even if something is true, you have to believe in it in order for the truth to work for you. Your belief either aligns or misaligns your vibration with divine truth. The most important beliefs are your beliefs about God. That is because God is everything, and your beliefs about God affect everything else in your life. In order to know God for real, you have to study how he is like from his Word. It is the key to knowing the true Personality of God revealed in all its perfect and full goodness.

When King David caused the husband of Bathsheba to be killed in war in order to attain the man’s wife, God revealed his heart to David through the prophet Samuel. This is what the LORD said “I anointed you king over Israel, and I delivered you out of the hand of Saul. And I gave you your master’s house, and your master’s wives into your bosom, and gave you the house of Israel and of Judah; and if that had been too little, I would moreover have given unto you such and such things.” This is the heart of God.

Know that God wants to give to you as much as you desire in order to be fully satisfied. You may feel that God has already given you so much in life, and that you should not be greedy to ask God for some more things that you want. But that is the wrong consciousness to have about God. King David had the wrong kind of consciousness by seeking to get what he wanted through his own means instead of asking God for it. God said to him that He would moreover have given unto him such and such things!

This means that if there is anything that you want in life, anything at all, you can ask God for it. You do not have to feel ashamed or afraid to ask God for it. God said that he would moreover give unto you such and such things. This is the heart of God. Knowing God for real draws you closer to him instead of repelling you further away from him. God in his infinite wisdom will give you want you want in a way that will truly satisfy you. This includes fulfillment of sexual desire. God did say such and such things.

The thing is that if you do not turn to God because of wrong consciousness about God and go about getting what you want through your own means, you will miss the goodness that God could have given to you, and instead cause yourself to suffer. The Bible says that the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. But as for the blessing of the LORD, it makes rich, and he adds no sorrow with it.

You can ask God for sexual fulfillment, money, power or anything else that seems ungodly to ask for according to those who think that way. The Bible says that unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled. The only requirement of being pure is to be a believer. The only righteousness is the righteousness of faith. There’s nothing unclean of itself but to him that esteems any thing to be unclean, to him it’s unclean.

God wants to give you life and life more abundantly. The devil wants to steal, kill and destroy what is yours. Before he can steal away your happiness, your prosperity, your healing and your power, he will first steal away the word of God away from you. Christ said in the parable of the sower “And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan comes immediately, and takes away the word that was sown in their hearts.” Know God through His word to have Shalom.

The word says “Thou will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusts in thee.” The Greek words for perfect peace are Shalom, Shalom.” It is the only place in the Bible where the word Shalom is mentioned twice in a row. Shalom means wholeness, completeness. It includes everything good that pertains to wellbeing of life including health, prosperity and relationships. The key to Shalom, Shalom is to have your mind stayed on God and to trust in God for all things in all times.

The reason why King David sinned was because his mind wasn’t stayed on God. He had allowed himself to fall away in a moment of temptation and took his eyes off God as his Source and Supply. The Bible says some people have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. Some people do what they think is right instead of way of God.

Having a zeal of God that is not according to knowledge is still a sin. That is why knowledge is the only good, and ignorance is the only evil. It is most important to have knowledge of God rather than to be ignorant of His righteousness. Seek you first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things which your Father in the Heavens know you need, shall be added unto you. It is a sin to reject asking money, sexual fulfillment, power and things for zeal of God but which is out of pure ignorance.

Your zeal is not enough. You must have knowledge. That is why knowing God for real and having the right consciousness of God is so important. Truth is higher than love in the preeminent order of things. That is because love without truth will lead to evil. Paul has stated very clearly what happens to those who have love without truth. They fail to submit themselves unto what is truly right in God’s eyes. You can only know God’s Personal Nature fully through his word. Have the knowledge of God for fulfillment.[/hidepost]
