Organizing Knowledge for Superhuman Intelligence

The great secret of speed lies in organization. When things are organized, action can be executed faster with less errors and probability of crashing. The same goes in the organization of information. The evolution of the future is higher and higher speeds of information transfer and communication. At some point, knowledge can be downloaded directly into the human consciousness, instead of needing to go through to slow process of reading and learning. For that to happen properly, the knowledge must be in its perfect form.

Therefore, the hardest and most important part of the work is in the beginning stage of organization. In the later part, things become easier and faster. This is why God needs to send beings of super intelligence and super genius to do this part of the work of organizing knowledge and knowledge integration. At this crucial stage of humanity, only the best of minds must be used for the job. Such people are way ahead of others in intelligence and understanding, because the work they do will set the path for the future of human intelligence and knowledge processing.

Kurzweil’s Six Epoch of Technology Evolution shows the exponential progression in the way the universe stores and processes information. It says that evolution applies positive feedback in that the more capable methods resulting from one stage of evolutionary progress are used to create the next stage. Each epoch of evolution has progressed more rapidly by building on the products of the previous stage.

A lot of inefficiency in learning is the result of knowledge duplication, which is the result of inefficiency in knowledge organization. It is unnecessary for Person A to speak a truth in a form that is already most complete and accurate, only to have Person B somewhere else saying the same thing somewhat differently and in a less perfect way than Person A. It is an unnecessary waste of time for people to learn from Person B and then later learn from Person A. They might as well go straight to the source first. If the system and technology of the world can organize knowledge in such a way where knowledge creation and knowledge retrieval can be centralized, it would become super efficient for people to teach and learn things.

Centralized knowledge organization would eliminate knowledge duplication, and would make knowledge creation and retrieval most efficient. This would advance the progress of humanity at an accelerated speed. People can go from learning straight into action quickly, which is the whole point of learning anyway. Learning does not produce results. Action produces results.

There are flaws in a centralized knowledge system as well. When the technological structure that holds a centralized knowledge system fails, everyone will lose access to knowledge for an indefinite amount of time until the system is restored. A centralized knowledge system can also be prone to abuse by those in charge of it and they can deliberately block access to anyone or even alter it to their own agenda. Fail-safes can be implemented such as having multiple backups of the system across different times in the past so that if things have been erased or changed in error, a previous backup can be used. Everyone can also have their own copy of the information found on the centralized knowledge system stored and hosted on their own personally owned computer device, so that if the main system goes down, everyone can still connect knowledge with everyone else through the secondary decentralized system. At anyone time there should be two systems running: the centralized knowledge system, and the decentralized knowledge personal system where people can also have their own version of knowledge that may or may not differ from the centralized version to provide as a check against the main system from illegitimate changes being made.

Knowledge alone does not do everything. A person benefits from knowledge by living it out. This includes even the one who presents the knowledge. Knowledge ultimately comes from the Universe. Those who present even the best of knowledge are just instruments or channels. They may create knowledge through thinking and contemplation, but the source of all knowledge is ultimately from the spiritual world. Therefore the credit for improvement in one’s life ultimately does not go to the teacher, but to the student who is living it out. Knowledge can be forgotten or distorted, and has to be relearned and sharpened again. Knowledge can be retained and remembered far more efficiently if it was organized and stored far more efficiently and perfectly.

Abraham Lincoln said if he had eight hours to chop down a tree, he would spend the first seven hours sharpening his axe. But if he had a technology that could sharpen his axe in a minute, he could chop a tree in minutes. It is really a huge waste of time spent in preparation, when changes are made in action and not in preparation. The Future of Humanity is in the evolution of more and more efficient organization, communication and use of information.

At the moment, the inefficiency of knowledge organization is the reason why there are lots of money making opportunities in the information business. A lot of information products are merely containing duplicated information. Only a small portion of works are significantly original. Whenever companies create a new information product, they are usually thinking about what will sell. If only they would be asking “Do other people really need this addition to the market? Is what we have something really different and better and not already available out there?” Companies that create only new products when necessary would not waste people’s time with things that are “nothing new”.
