Know that it is God who gives you everything. You may take action to make things happen. You may set your intention and use mind power to manifest. All these things are your works. But work alone does not necessarily lead to results. There is a special state of consciousness you must possess in order to draw from the Source and Universal Supply. This state of consciousness is the awareness that it is God who gives the increase. When you possess this awareness, you’re aligned with divine truth.

Paul said “I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. So then neither is he that plants any thing, neither he that waters; but God that gives the increase.” The true meaning of that statement is to understand that it is not your work that does anything in the universe, but it is God who does everything. Still, you must plant and you must water, but you must trust God to give the increase if you want your actions to get results. This is the whole key to possessing the divine state of consciousness.

Faith in God must be mixed with our actions in order for us to succeed. One without the other is not enough. Faith without action is not enough. Paul said that “every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.” So this is the other side of the truth. But all of creation is a consciousness thing. Faith must come first before action. Only action taken in faith will produce desired results. Labour that is done without faith is nothing at all, and will produce nothing. Faith is the actual creative power.

Blessed is the man that trusts in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreads out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat comes, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit. It’s important to trust God for success in every action that you take. Only then shall you bear fruit and shall not worry even at times when the world experience hard times. You are planted by rivers.

Show me a man of great achievement and I will show you a man of great faith. Your success can never rise above your level of faith. God can only meet you at your level of mental equivalent. Behind every intention that you set and everything visualization that you do, you must have the consciousness that God is the one who manifests your intention and breathes life into your dreams. You have no power to create reality at this level. You can only create with a higher level of consciousness of the Source.

When you are connected to the Source, that is when your intentions would work and your thoughts be given power to shift reality in your desired direction. Your thoughts are a connecting link to God and a communication to the Universe about what you want. But you must be at the right level of consciousness in order to receive cooperative action of the Universe. The right consciousness is the understanding that you are not doing anything, but it’s the Universe that does everything. This is the true meekness.

God has chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God has chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; And base things of the world, and things which are despised, has God chosen, yes, and things which are not, to bring to nothing things that are: That no flesh should glory in his presence. Do not put your trust in your own flesh or own self efforts to create anything, but put your trust in God and your wisdom, might and will work to achieve success.

You must understand that the ego can do nothing of itself, but it is the Spiritual Self that does everything. All manifestations work from a place of higher consciousness. Walk in the Spirit and not in the flesh. Your walking is all in the consciousness that you possess. Two people can do the same physical actions, but one of them trusts in their actions to create results, while the other trusts in God to bring the results. One is walking in the flesh while the other is walking in the Spirit. This is all the difference.

Sure, you can be aware of your act of trusting in God as a vital factor. But during the actual act of trusting, you must think not of your act of trusting, but of God alone. Do not put your faith in faith. Put your faith in God. What this means is that during your actual act of trusting or prayer or meditation, POLARIZE your awareness towards God doing the work, and away from yourself trusting in him. Be conscious more of his Authority in you, rather than you exercising authority. Be conscious of His Preeminence.

God and You may be One and the Same Being. But from your point of view and individuated perspective within Consciousness, you must see Him in the way that is in accordance with Divine Order. You must acknowledge God as God, as your Higher Self, as Spirit and as The Source. The Source may be the Greater You, but from your perspective within Consciousness, you must see The Source as Greater than you and Higher than you. This is how things work within Consciousness with all that is in it.

God said “Behold I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.” This means that He creates a path for you even when no path existed before. He brings in the supply even in places where the supply is limited and lacking. When you trust in God, these things can happen for you. He can give you the increase even in conditions where the increase does not seem likely. With God, your success is beyond the normal ways.[/hidepost]
